About Us
Looking for a local’s guide to what’s really up in the Four Corners? From the desert to the mountain tops to the river bottoms, on bike, foot, boat or at times soaring the sky, IOSW’s got you covered. Inside/Outside Southwest magazine is a free monthly magazine that reaches across the Four Corners of the Southwest to Salt Lake City to Texas.
Since 1998, Inside/Outside Southwest has been publishing the most relevent, regional and authentic features and photos to originate in the Southwest. Twelve times a year, Inside/Outside Southwest is delivered to readers’ doorsteps and distribution points in the region. We have changed our approach recently to improve efficiencies by minimizing the number of print issues we print, reducing paper usage, and augmenting our digital presence, extending our reach, which all goes toward reducing our global footprint.
Inside/Outside Southwest is owned by Durango Herald Inc., in Durango, Colorado. We are a small but energized group of environmentally and socially conscious outdoor enthusiasts that lives in the foothills of the San Juan Mountains and about an hour’s drive from the epicenter of our region, the Four Corners of the Southwest.
